Rosalina Tomas “Rosal” Andres, 88, of Keaau died March 14 at home. Born in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines, she was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 2 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation again 8-10 a.m. Wednesday, April 3 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Burial at Alae Cemetery, section J. Survived by sons, Loreto (Lettie) Andres and Arnolfo Andres Sr. of Keaau; daughters, Erlinda (Sam) Maballo and Carmen (Ruben) Quisisem of Keaau, Aurora Andres of Honolulu; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. James “Kimo” Anthony Mitchell, 47, of Napoopoo died March 15 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Honolulu, he was a heavy equipment operator for Big Island Scrap Metal, a host at several bars and Ambassadors of Aloha member.
